{"id":9,"date":"2025-04-18T15:56:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-18T13:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scorad.org\/?page_id=9"},"modified":"2025-04-18T16:49:53","modified_gmt":"2025-04-18T14:49:53","slug":"a-propos-de","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/scorad.org\/index.php\/a-propos-de\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>SCORAD<\/strong> (&#8220;SCORing Atopic Dermatitis&#8221;) index is a clinical tool for assessing the extent of the disease, disease intensity, and subjective symptoms of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Atopic_dermatitis\">atopic dermatitis<\/a>.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SCORAD#cite_note-1\">[1]<\/a><\/sup> It gives approximate weights of 60% to intensity and 20% each to extent and subjective symptoms. These are used to calculate a maximum total score of 103, however, the scores for each category can be used individually if clinically appropriate.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SCORAD#cite_note-pmid9267730-2\">[2]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>SCORAD<\/strong> index was developed by the European Task Force on Atopic Dermatitis in 1993. The copyrights are currrently managed by Pr. Jean Fran\u00e7ois Stalder, a member of the ETFAD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong> PO-SCORAD<\/strong> is the &#8220;Patient-Oriented&#8221; version of the SCORAD. It uses the same algorithm and provides the same results as the SCORAD. The layout was modified to make it more user-friendly for patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to use the SCORAD or the PO-SCORAD in a clinical study, you need to apply for a license.
